How to get to Stranraer Port:
If you are travelling from the south, take the M6/A74 past Carlisle to
Gretna and then take the A75 west directly to Stranraer. The ferry port
is located close to the town centre.
Alternatively, if you are travelling from the North- Stranraer follow
the A77 Coast Road from Ayr.
How to get to Belfast Port:
From M2:
Follow signs for Belfast marked 'M2 BELFAST'.
Follow gantry signs for 'DOCKS, CITY CENTRE', moving to the left hand
lane
Exit (1B) off the M2 and go to Duncrue Street. Stay in the Left Lane and
then at the next traffic lights turn left into the off slip, opposite
the 'Stella Maris' building.
From M1:
At the very end of the M1 follow the signs for 'THE DOCKS' through the
Broadway Roundabout and onto the Westlink. Follow signs marked 'M2, THE
DOCKS, AIRPORT/THE NORTH'
Keep to the left hand lane at the traffic lights nearing the end of the
Westlink and then turn left into York Street and move to the right hand
lane.
At Yorkgate turn right at lights and go under the bridge. Stay in the left
lane through the lights along 'DOCK STREET' to the 'PORT OF BELFAST' sign.
